Chimney Oaks is the perfect Country Wedding Venue for your luxury dream wedding. It is both beautiful and romantic. Our idyllic lake views and floral landscapes are all surrounded by the most picturesque golf course.

We are one hour from the heart of Atlanta and conveniently located between Gainesville and Athens. We have guest accommodation on-site and a separate bridal lounge for you and your bridesmaids to get ready in on your big day.

Guests can be accommodated in the Grand Dining Hall. And with many options available, limiting numbers is not a concern.

Ceremony Locations

The Gathering Hall
The Gathering Hall boasts a long wall of windows that look out to our magnificent course views. It has two elegant floor to ceiling fireplaces, and plenty of room for guests.

The Terraces
Doors from an adjoining dining area open up onto a paved patio. This leads onto a multi-level amphitheater with gorgeous views of two separate lakes. This outdoor space is large enough for any group size. And a perfect place to take large group photographs also.

Lakeside Ceremony
This intimate setting has beautiful views of both the lake and the golf course. This location can also accommodate any group size.

Groves, Patios and Distinctive Areas
You and your guests can visit the poolside Cabana Club and patio. Refreshments can also be served in this location.

Menu options
We have menu options from Hor D'oeuvres to 4 course plated meals. Our head chef, along with our experienced culinary team will prepare and create your selected menu.

Unless you are dining outside, food is served in the Grand Dining Hall. Hors D'oeuvres are served in the adjoining dining area. Our full bar with wine, beer and liquor can service all areas.

We will do everything we can to ensure your dream wedding is just as you want it. We will have discussions about table layouts, timing and your preferred format. Best of all, once you book, we will schedule personalized tastings to help you with your menu selection.

Comfort, Accommodation and Packages

Bridal Room for Comfort
Our bridal room allows you a private space during your big day. Equipped with multiple makeup stations and lounge seating, it is perfect for your preparations. It is also a place to share with loved ones or just take a moment to relax.

Guest Accommodation
The lodge is an impressive building and overlooks both the golf course and driving range. There are 3 separate family sized units. Individual units can sleep between 2 and 16 guests.
Commerce is only 10 minutes away and has other accommodation options. If needed, we can arrange transportation going to and from the hotel.

Bride, Groom and Guest Golf Packages
Preferred guest pricing may encourage you to spend an afternoon de-stressing on the golf course before your big day. Guests staying at the lodge may also benefit from preferred pricing.
